Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you of the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (459) dated 23/2/1440, which pointed out that the Council received the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. 13794 / AS dated 21/2/1440, on the establishment of an electronic tracking system for human medicine in order to monitor all operations on the drug package.
The system aims to combat drug fraud, check drug availability, support optimal drug use and reduce waste.
It will also be one of the most important means of the Authority in achieving medical security in the Kingdom.
The system has been completed and the next stage requires that all stakeholders in the supply chain of human drugs (manufacture, import, storage, sale or consumption) register and integrate the system to be used to report on the operations of the pharmaceutical packaging.
The Authority hopes to speed up registration in the electronic system as well as integration with it according to the guide manual.

It is noteworthy that all parties will have to use the system and report on the operations on the drug package as of 1/5 / 1440 ( 7/1/2019).
